Product Description
This book presents the powerful basics of the original Teachings of Abraham. Within these pages, you’ll learn how all things, wanted and unwanted, are brought to you by this most powerful law of the universe, the Law of Attraction. (that which is like unto itself is drawn). You’ve most likely heard the saying “Like attracts like,” “Birds of a feather flock together,” or “It is done unto you as you believe” (a belief is only a thought you keep thinking); and although the Law of Attraction has been alluded to by some of the greatest teachers in history, it has never before been explained in as clear and practical terms as in this latest book by New York Times best-selling authors, Esther and Jerry Hicks. Learn here about the omnipresent Laws that govern this Universe and how to make them work to your advantage. The understanding that you’ll achieve by reading this book will take all the guesswork out of daily living. You’ll finally understand just about everything that’s happening in your own life as well as in the lives of those you’re interacting with. This book will help you to joyously be, do, or have anything that you desire!

this could chage your life August 30, 2010 noelia (NY) all the information that abraham hicks provides it's very good .the only part I found it annoying is when jerry advertise of the website and the phone.i know where to go if I want to buy more of their products, however the entire program is very very good and I starting to manifest what i think of.people this is real ! try it!
Fascinating Read August 12, 2010 P. Gehrig (Basel, Switzerland) A real eye-opening experience to be sure! If you've never considered the possibility of spiritual guides, this book will clarify the true nature of their existence and their desire to assist us in our incarnated state of being. A great and interesting story on the spiritual world and our connection to it.

You have to approach this with an open mind, or not at all July 27, 2010 Mike (San Jose, CA) I've skirted around the Abraham-Hicks material for quite some time now. On one hand, it is firmly rooted in the classic "thoughts are things" early 20th Century works such as Think and Grow Rich, Original 1937 Classic Edition, The Secret of the Ages, The Master Key System by Charles F. Haanel, The Science Of Getting Rich: The Original Guide to Manifesting Wealth Through the Secret Law of Attraction, and many others.
On the other, the concept of "Abraham, the group of non-physical teachers speaking through Esther" may be a little too "New Age" for some. Don't let that keep you from information that could change your life.
The key to all of these is the same...the issue isn't putting "The Law Of Attraction" into place. We're already doing that. The key is that we determine what we want and then focus on the lack of it, the fear that comes from not having enough money to pay the bills (or, as you'll hear in this recording, not having enough money to pay the bills AND enough money to do what we want after those bills are paid).
"We are the creator of our experience."
Part of the bad rap that follows "The Law Of Attraction" is the "name it and claim it" school of followers, who think that you just have to have happy thoughts and everything will be magically drawn to you like a magnet, with no effort on your part. That's not what "The Law Of Attraction" is about at all. It is about having clarity of vision, VERY strong desire, BELIEF that the vision and desire put the process in motion and that you are already on the way to achieving what you want...but THEN you go to WORK. You have to remain focused on what you want, you must want it above all else, but you don't sit idle and wait for it. You go to work in order to obtain it.
But if you labor in doubt and dwell on lack or succumb to fear regarding what will happen if you don't get what you want, you defeat the attitude and behavior that are critical for your obtaining it.
So if a person is expecting to listen to this recording and put forth no effort, they will be disappointed. The basic underlying message...visualizing things we haven't seen, allowing yourself to believe that you can have what you want, controlling your thoughts so that you do not attract or "magnetize" people, things, or situations that you do NOT want...
...Napoleon Hill (an others) tried to bring this message to the world decades ago, and some "got it," while others expressed their desires and immediately followed up with 100 self-defeating reasons why those desires could never possibly see the light of day.
To paraphrase Esther's remarks in the "Deliberate Creation" section, most people say "I want (whatever it is), BUT..," or feel frustration because what they want is slow in coming, so they focus on the slowness, so you begin to push it away.
The IRONY is that the MORE that you want it and can CONSISTENTLY hold on to this desire WHILE working toward obtaining it, the FASTER you will get what you want. If you want to know why its arrival seems slow, go look in the mirror.
If you can tame your mind...if you can approach this recording with an open mind...do it, and do it today. If not, it will be a waste of your time and money, you will "hear" the message I have outlined above but you won't "receive it" and put it into practice, and you'll look for ways to discredit what's being said.
Taking full responsibility for our lives July 9, 2010 truthseeker (OH) For those who find "blame the victim" appalling and absurd this review is for you. If we have the power to create, to manifest, to bring about why wouldn't we somehow in an unconscious way bring on the negative too. I would probably use the word "responsibility" more than blame though. Nevertheless, this is a hard pill to swallow when we look at the abuses our society fosters, but all are lessons to get us to an enlighten state. Who else causes such pain? God? The Devil? Most likely if you are reading this book, which I have really just started, you are not a avid Christian relying solely on the Bible and what the preacher says. I do believe Karma (past actions based in the present life and previous lives) also plays a role on what happens to us. This Universal Law is omnipotent and ever present and we must awaken to it to take complete control or responsibility for our lives. If we are thinking that we only create what is good in our life than we are missing the significance of these teachings. Unfortunately or fortunately some lessons are harder to learn and work through. ~Namaste
Did I really just read that?! June 17, 2010 LimeLite (Ohio, USA) I will start off by saying I am a firm believer on making your own luck, attracting good things, and so forth.
I didn't finish the book-I had to put it down! I would be reading a section and think-there's no way that I just really read that, so I would read the portion again and yes it most certainly did say that!
I didn't even get to the animal abuse part but once I saw that in a few of the reviews I went and looked for it. I treat all living beings like I would treat a stranger, family member, or friend-I have a hard time believing that an animal wishes to be abused, tortured, and negected!
Not only that but the whole blame the victim stuff was more than enough for me! I got in a really bad car accident and am still in pain to this day and you are telling me that I wished this on myself? I think you learn from each situation that God puts you into but this book literally had me scared to think!
Don't watch TV because if you see a story that makes you think "God I couldn't even imagine going through that" well this books suggests that its on it merry way! How can you not go through life without these basic raw human emotions such as sympathy and empathy for others and things?
Surely there are books that help me focus on that positive energy that I wish to attract without scaring the (you know what)out of me! I'm glad that I am not the only that got this out of the book-the authors should be ashamed of themselves! I mean this is "supposed" to be some kind of angel like being that is talking to them-I have a hard time understand that this is the way the univerise goes. I mean am I wrong to believe these sayings "you get out what you put in, treat others as you would yourself, help others who cannot help themselves, etc etc"?
I'm going to look into some of the books others suggested....
